Human:
You can play as a human who lives on Pandora (as either a scientist, warrior, or other) in the human village, called Uniltaron (meaning Dream Hunters in Na'vi). A human living here is on good terms with Na'vi, but cannot leave the village without entering their avatar body. It is too dangerous for a human on foot. To do so would be suicide. Also, only warriors and scientists have an avatar body. Since they take time to grow and mature, not everyone can have them.
--Scientists:
Scientists are humans living in Uniltaron. They have avatar bodies, and can change into them at will. A scientist can stay in his/her avatar body for three weeks at best, without the human body failing. Any longer, and said body will deteriorate and body functions will cease to work. Surpassing three weeks in one's avatar body is against the law. Scientists are also very intelligent, moreso than warriors and others. They must know the Na'vi language inside and out, and must be able to translate Na'vi language from one species to the other fluently.
--Warriors:
Warriors are humans living in Uniltaron. Their name is given to them because they are the guards selected from Earth to accompany the scientists on their trips into the forest and to protect the human village. Trained in the ways of the Omaticaya, the warriors are some of the best. They have avatar bodies, and have shifts in which they change into their bodies. Also, they can change into their avatar when a scientist chooses assigns them to travel with them into the forest. they are less intelligent than scientists, but are more skilled in the ways of combat. they also get along better with the Omaticaya than scientists and others.
--Others:
Others are humans who work in Uniltaron. They are the ones who are skilled in others areas of life, such as cooking, engineering, building, ect. Scientists can't do everything, regardless of smarts. Others do not have avatar bodies, nor will they ever receive one unless they are a special case. (This does occur, do not be alarmed. =D) They are at the bottom of the totem pole, meaning they are simply workers who keep the village in working order. These people are essential to the scientists and warriors, though, and they would be nothing without them.
--Dreamwalkers:
Dreamwalkers are humans that have avatar bodies but live among the Omaticaya as one of their own. They were once warriors who had shown exceptional skills in the ways of combat or the Sight (the Na'vi's perception of the world) and were taken in by the Na'vi to one day return to the humans and teach their own kind what they have learned. Dreamwalkers' human bodies are located in Uniltaron, and once a week they are taken from their avatar state to rest, eat, and take care of their human selves. It is necessary in order for the human side to stay somewhat active, in case something happens to the avatar body while out in the forest.
