Northern Plains The Northern Plains are more habitable, being closer to the forest than the Southern Plains. More greenery and trees are located here, giving more reason for plant life to be found. Herds generally stay around this area, only going south if the food here becomes scarce. Since the Pali live move here quite a few times during their lifetime, they have created permanent homes here that they will move back into once they enter this area again. A small tributary runs from the forest through the Northern Plains, providing fresh water for the Pali here. |

Southern Plains The Southern Plains are less hospitable than its northern counterpart. It is closer to the sea, so the ground here is harder and less nutrient, therefore plant life cannot grow as well. Small grasses litter the area, and the air is slightly salty. Small tributaries leak from the north and into the sea, bringing in hardly enough water to host a thriving ecosystem. When herds move here, the times are rough indeed. |
